Our Summit Health Pediatric Endocrinology team uses a collaborative approach that empowers both patients and parents to actively participate in their care and the decision-making process. Conditions We Treat
We treat a wide range of common and rare endocrine disorders in newborns, children and adolescents, including type 1 and type 2 diabetes as well as calcium and bone health disorders, thyroid disorders, growth disorders, adrenal gland disorders, puberty disorders, pituitary disorders, obesity, endocrine late effects post cancer treatment, gender dysphoria and genetic endocrine disorders. Team member and pediatric endocrinology specialist, Dr. Jennifer Sivitz has a special interest and board certification in Obesity Medicine while Dr. Sadana Balachandar has a special interest in the long-term endocrine effects of childhood cancer treatment as well as caring for children with NF-1 and optic gliomas.

- Growth hormone stimulation testing

- Oral glucose tolerance testing
