Tiffany Schumaker, DO, is a member of the Pediatric team at Summit Health. Dr. Schumaker’s areas of expertise include disorders of growth and puberty, including short stature, tall stature, early and delayed puberty, and irregular menstrual cycles, along with thyroid disorders, adrenal steroid disorders, pediatric obesity, and metabolic syndrome.

Dr. Schumaker’s approach to patient care for pediatric patients is a child-centered, family-focused, and collaborative approach. She is passionate about healthy eating and lifestyles as well as obesity prevention.  She enjoys educating and reassuring both patients and their families and helping to guide them through their medical and treatment journey.

“I like to involve both the patient and the family during the visit to fully understand their concerns and answer all of their questions,” said Dr. Schumaker. “Our visit is concluded when all of their questions are answered and they feel comfortable with the proposed plan of action.”

Outside of work, Dr. Schumaker enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons. She also likes to stay active by running and skiing.
