Uzma Malik, MD, is a member Summit Health’s nephrology team. Dr. Malik focuses on acute kidney injuries, chronic kidney disease, end stage renal disease, glomerulonephritis, and more.

Dr. Malik’s patient philosophy is centered on compassion, empathy, collaboration, and a commitment to continued improvement. Dr. Malik believes every patient is deserving of the highest level of care and he strives to create a supportive and compassionate environment. Dr. Malik continues to seek opportunities to collaborate with medical staff including but not limited to doctors, therapists, and nurses to provide comprehensive coordinated care. “I prioritize building strong relationships with patients, their families, and the healthcare team based on trust and effective communication,” said Dr. Malik.

Outside of work, Dr. Malik enjoys reading, watching documentaries, staying close to nature, and spending time with family and friends.
