Before joining Summit Health, Lisa F. Brodkin, MD, was an internist with Paramount Medical Group in Warren, New Jersey. Dr. Brodkin also has practiced with Kaiser Permanente Medical Group in Anaheim, California.  She has been Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California San Diego Medical Center in La Jolla. After completing her residency, Dr. Brodkin worked for an internal medicine and endocrinology group in Providence, Rhode Island. "The reward of getting to know my patients over time is among the many reasons I enjoy primary care," says Dr. Brodkin. She adds, "I believe that a good relationship between patients and their physicians is built on trust, mutual respect, and empathy." An advocate for preventive care, Dr. Brodkin educates her patients about making healthy choices in their lives.

When she is not working with her patients, Dr. Brodkin enjoys exploring New Jersey with her husband and 2 children.
