Michelle Thomas, MSN, RN, FNP-C, is a member of Summit Health’s Cardiology team. Having come from a family of healthcare providers, she felt naturally drawn to this field. Her early opportunities to volunteer and intern in healthcare systems gave her a firsthand experience of being a provider.

With many years of cardiology experience under her belt, Michelle works with both pediatric and adult populations. She believes in compassionate care for all patients and champions the idea of preventive measures for better health outcomes.

Communication and trust are two pillars that Michelle considers most important during a patient visit. She finds joy in helping people achieve their health goals and believes that the more we know about achieving a healthier lifestyle, the better we become.

Outside her professional life, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, cooking, and living an active lifestyle. As a mother of a daughter and a former pediatric nurse, she is particularly passionate about the welfare of children, and is involved in many causes.
