Eugene Wang, MD, is a member of Summit Health’s Neurology, Pain Medicine, and Neuroimaging teams. Dr. Wang has always held a deep respect for physicians, inspired by those he encountered in his childhood. His fascination with human anatomy and his unwavering desire to help his patients have guided his career in medicine.

Dr. Wang is a pain management specialist with a unique academic background in neurology and neuroimaging. This means he can evaluate patients and use his training in reading MRI brain and spine studies to diagnose and treat painful conditions. He stays up-to-date with the latest treatments in interventional pain medicine and always aims to minimize pain for his patients during injections.

Dr. Wang believes in treating the patient as a whole person, not just a disease. "We are all very complex and nuanced beings, and deserve the best care possible," he says. He is always honest and upfront with his patients and takes the time to explain a procedure or treatment plan in detail. His goal is to ensure each patient feels cared for and confident in his skills.

Outside of work, Dr. Wang is an avid tennis fan and enjoys watching top players compete. He also follows F1 racing and enjoys watching live comedy. He enjoys spending time with his family, following his kids' passions, and vacationing in Florida. Dr. Wang and his wife are passionate about animal welfare and children's health, and they sponsor Christian medical missionaries around the world.
