Mrs. Tyler is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in nursing and her Master of Science in nursing the State University of New York at Buffalo in Buffalo, NY.

Prior to joining Summit Health (formerly Westmed Medical Group), Mrs. Tyler worked as a nurse practitioner at the Morris Heights Health Center in Bronx, NY. She was also an adjunct professor at the New York University College of Nursing.

Mrs. Tyler has made her career about helping those in need to reach health care services by working on mobile health units as well as in correctional facilities. In 2012, she won the NYC Providers of Healthcare for the Homeless award.
