Judith Rivas, MD, is a member of Summit Health’s Obstetrics and Gynecology team. As an OBGYN, Dr. Rivas focuses on treating conditions dealing with the female reproductive system, such as pregnancy/childbirth, contraception, and menopause.

Dr. Rivas believe quality patient care begins with treating every patient as if they were a family member or friend. Dr. Rivas focuses on providing high-quality patient care tailored to her patients’ individual needs. “It is important that patients know how to navigate the healthcare system,” said Dr. Rivas. Dr. Rivas believes the most important aspect of a patient visit is ensuring the patient feels heard and that the communication is inclusive. Dr. Rivas creates an environment that supports strong provider and patient relationships based on respect for the patient’s values, beliefs, and autonomy.

Outside of work, Dr. Rivas enjoys traveling, reading, and hiking.
