Suhaira Choudhry, DO, is a member of Summit Health’s Primary Care team. As a family medicine physician, Dr. Choudhry focuses on treating and managing chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension.

Dr. Choudhry’s health care philosophy is patient focused. She believes every patient is different and taking the time to know who they are and what is important to them is fundamental to their care. She believes that a patient’s cultural, religious, and social backgrounds influence decisions and should be understood.

“I like for my patients to participate in their own health care decisions and for us to work together as a team,” said Dr. Choudhry.

Outside of work, Dr. Choudhry loves to read and travel.
