Andrew Joelson, MD, is a member of Summit Health’s gastroenterology team. Dr. Joelson, will treat all patients with diseases of the gastrointestinal and pancreatobiliary system. He cares for patients seeking routine colorectal cancer screening, those with colorectal disease including colon poylps, diverticular disease, pancreatic cysts and tumors, diseases of the bile ducts, inflammatory bowel disease, acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome, and liver disease.

Dr. Joelson’s patient philosophy is that all patients deserve to have their health concerns heard and addressed. Dr. Joelson believes in shared decision making and ensuring his patients leave the office feeling satisfied with their care. “It is important that all patients feel comfortable with their treatment plan and their needs were met through shared decision making,” said Dr. Joelson. “I enjoy building long-lasting relationships with my patients and using my procedural expertise to help care for them.”

Outside of work, Dr. Joelson enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, bike riding, and taking long walks with his dog.
