Randall Glenn Gale Jr., DO, is a member of Summit Health’s Cardiology team. Dr. Gale pursued a career in health care because he enjoys helping people and being part of a team that works together to achieve a common goal.

Board-certified in adult cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology, he is experienced in interpreting echocardiograms. “I treat adults of all ages with a wide variety of cardiac conditions, including atrial fibrillation, coronary artery disease, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol,” said Dr. Gale.

Following a team-based approach to patient care, Dr. Gale works collaboratively with patients to diagnose and treat their cardiac conditions. He believes it is important to find individualized ways to motivate them to improve their cardiovascular health.

“I focus my time on listening to patients to help them understand what they are experiencing,” said Dr. Gale. “I enjoy forming a meaningful connection with them.” He also tries to educate patients about the nature of their condition, as well as the thought process behind any testing or treatment.

When he is not seeing patients in the office, Dr. Gale’s interests include sports, particularly baseball, soccer, and rowing. In his free time, Dr. Gale enjoys hiking and camping. His passions extend to the humane treatment of animals and a desire to educate the community about atrial fibrillation and coronary artery disease.
