Somi Gupta, Doctor of Audiology (AuD, CCC-A, FAAA), has her degree from A.T. Still University and Master of Science Degree in Hearing, Language and Speech from Osmania University in India. Her areas of expertise are in evaluating people with hearing and balance disorders including infants and rehabilitating individuals with medically untreatable hearing disorders.

Dr. Gupta particularly enjoys working with challenging patients (e.g., single-sided deafness), fitting CROS aids, educating patients about noise prevention, vestibular evaluation, and working with children and the elderly. During her patient visits, Dr. Gupta likes to understand her patient’s complaint, uses best practices to arrive at an accurate diagnosis, and counsels them regarding next steps.

“My philosophy is to treat everyone with respect and provide high-quality care that each of us deserve. I am particularly touched when my returning patients tell me about how their quality of life has improved after receiving audiological services”, said Dr. Gupta.

She is very passionate about educating and supporting children all over the world, creating an awareness about the environment, and educating people on adopting a healthy lifestyle which is also linked to healthy hearing. In her free time, Dr. Gupta enjoys spending time with her family & her dog Haachi, gardening, hiking, cooking, and painting. Lastly but most importantly, practicing yoga and meditation are her way of life.
