Dr. Jong received her Bachelor of Arts in East Asian studies from Wesleyan University. Dr. Jong was awarded her medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed her internship and residency training in internal medicine at the Columbia-Presbyterian campus of the New York Presbyterian Hospital. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.

Prior to joining Summit Health (formerly Westmed Medical Group) in 2011, Dr. Jong was in private practice in White Plains and a visiting faculty member of the Department of Medicine at the University of Hong Kong.

Dr. Jong is an advocate of patient-centered care. Her interests are in preventative care, management of chronic conditions and aging. She enjoys teaching and mentoring students, as well as being a lifelong learner.
