Katherine Shen, MD is a member of Summit Health’s Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) team. Dr. Shen is a board-certified otolaryngologist that provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages. Specializing in diagnosing and managing a wide array of common ENT conditions, her expertise includes treating ear infections, hearing loss, sinonasal disorders, head and neck cancers, as well as conditions affecting the throat, neck, and voice.

Dr. Shen earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Stanford University and obtained her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She completed her internship and residency in Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Throughout her career, Dr. Shen has engaged in extensive research, contributing to numerous publications in oncology, ophthalmology, and otolaryngology.

Dr. Shen is affiliated with Northern Westchester Hospital and Rye Ambulatory Surgery Center, where she is committed to providing patient-centered, evidence-based care in both office and surgical settings.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Dr. Shen enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including golf, running, cycling, and skiing. She also values spending quality time with her family and friends.
