Dr. Salam received his Bachelor of Arts in biological sciences from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. After earning his medical degree from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York City, Dr. Salam completed his internal medicine residency at Greenwich Hospital in Greenwich, CT. During residency, Dr. Salam was president of the Wellness committee and is an advocate of mental wellbeing for his patients. He approaches problems from a holistic perspective, recognizing the connection between psychological, familial, societal, and biological elements.

In his free time, Dr. Salam enjoys film, hiking, and snowboarding.

Dr. Salam is fluent in English, Urdu and Hindi.
