Nathan Cheng, MD, is a member of Summit Health’s Urology team. As a urologist, Dr. Cheng focuses on general urologic problems such as kidney stones, urinary frequency/urgency, blood in the urine, and other issues. Dr. Cheng’s passion is oncologic care, specifically in the areas of prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular cancers. He offers a variety of treatments including non-surgical options and minimally invasive robotic surgery approaches. Dr. Cheng evaluates the priorities of every patient and creates a plan that aligns with their wishes and goals for quality of life. He believes in having honest conversations, making a connection with each of his patients, and taking the time to understand their concerns.   

“I always sit down when talking to my patients so we can look at each other at eye level,” said Dr. Cheng. “I also want to be certain that I am spending the time needed to get to the bottom of the issue.” He enjoys making his patients happy and collaborating with other physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and staff.

Outside of work, Dr. Cheng enjoys traveling and trying new foods.
