David Brown, MD, is a member of Summit Health’s Allergy & Immunology team. Dr. Brown treats pediatric and adult patients with a wide range of conditions. These include nose and sinus problems, skin rashes like eczema and hives, asthma, food and drug allergies, sinus headaches, recurring infections like ear, sinus, and chest infections, insect allergies, and coughing of unknown cause.

Dr. Brown believes in the importance of being a good listener. He feels that the patient's story often leads to the correct diagnosis and treatment. "I want my patients to know that I genuinely care about their well-being and I am doing everything I possibly can to make them feel better," says Dr. Brown.

What Dr. Brown enjoys most about his work is knowing that he helps someone to feel better. "I pursued a career in health care because I wanted to help people. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing a patient recover and feel better because of the care we've provided," he adds.

Outside of work, Dr. Brown enjoys spending time with his wife, other family members, and friends. He also loves taking care of his pet dog and cats and feeding the birds and other creatures that wander onto his property from the woods across the street. He is especially passionate about climate change and its impact on people's health and well-being.
