Dr. Sergey Rome is board certified by the American Board of Urology. He is a clinical instructor of surgery appointed by the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – New Jersey Medical School.

Born in Ukraine in 1968, Dr. Rome immigrated to the United States in 1990. He attended Brooklyn College where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine and completed a surgical residency in at New York University. He completed a prestigious urology residency program at New York University Medical Center where he studied under Dr. Herb Lepor, M.D.

Dr. Rome serves on several urologic advisory boards whose focuses are aimed toward improving pharmaceutical product quality in the field of urology. He is one of only a few board-certified urologists in northern New Jersey with considerable experience in male slings and has been involved in perfecting this technique in recent years.
