Shruti Kapadia, MD is a member of Summit Health’s Internal Medicine team. Dr. Kapadia was born and raised in NJ. She completed her Undergraduate studies at Rutgers University. She went on to Medical School at St. George’s University in Grenada. She completed her Residency training at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ. During her final year of residency, Dr. Kapadia served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Kapadia trained in treating both acute and chronic conditions including but not limited to those listed above. She now focuses on Primary Care with a special interest in preventative care and mental health and well-being.

“Patient care is about the patient. Every patient is unique so it’s about taking the time and listening to their individualized needs, addressing those needs in a way that is going to lead to the safest and healthiest outcome for them.”

Outside of treating patients, Dr. Kapadia enjoys spending time and traveling with her husband, daughter and golden doodle. She also loves dancing- specifically Bollywood and traditional Indian dance in which she trained since the age of 5.
