Robin Bigelow, MD, is a member of Summit Health’s Otolaryngology team. He is board certified in both Neurotology and Otolaryngology. Dr. Bigelow focuses on treating patients of all ages with issues related to the outer, middle, and inner ear. This can include problems with hearing and the ear drum or hearing bones as well as chronic ear disease or infections and performing cochlear implants.

He also treats patients with diseases and tumors of the lateral skull base including CSF leaks, encephalocele, acoustic neuroma, vestibular schwannoma, meningioma, and facial nerve tumors.

Dr. Bigelow loves his job because it uses cutting-edge science and experience to directly help other people. He determines his patients’ goals and what bothers them most by actively listening and having informed discussions about what the best course of management would be for them.

“Sometimes there is more than one right way to manage a problem,” said Dr. Bigelow. “I want to be sure the patient gets the correct course of treatment for their particular problem to help them achieve their goals.”

Outside of work, Dr. Bigelow enjoys baking and exploring the outdoors with his family.
