Danielle Calvo, MD, is a member of Summit Health’s Obstetrics and Gynecology team. As an OBGYN, Dr. Calvo’s expertise is in women’s health, preventive care, and obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Calvo cares for patients from adolescence through adulthood - with focus on preconception, care throughout pregnancy and postpartum, contraception, menstrual disorders, and menopause. She is trained in minimally invasive surgical techniques including vaginal, laparoscopic and the DaVinci Robotic system. 

Dr. Calvo enjoys taking care of patients, getting to know them, and helping them lead healthier lives, particularly in the field of women’s health. She takes the time to understand what is important to her patients and equip them to make educated decisions about their health.

Her philosophy focuses on patient-centered care. She takes pride in being hands-on and enjoys solving difficult problems with a patient’s individual goals and values in mind. Dr. Calvo believes trust is the most important part of an initial encounter with a patient.

She is a recipient of awards including Outstanding Resident in Maternal Fetal Medicine and Outstanding Resident in Gynecologic Oncology during her residency training. 

Outside of work, Dr. Calvo enjoys spending time with her Husband, son and their pet pomeranian.
