Dr. Evan Levine is board certified in cardiovascular medicine, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, internal medicine and obesity medicine. He received his Bachelor of Arts in economics with a minor in chemistry from Vanderbilt University College of Arts and Sciences, where he graduated with honors. After earning his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Levine completed his residency in internal medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital where he was selected as chief resident. He continued his advanced medical training at Lenox Hill Hospital where he completed a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine and served as chief cardiovascular fellow. Dr. Levine has a special interest in medical education and devotes his time to teaching residents, interns, and medical students. In addition, he has experience as a research analyst in the area of electrophysiology and atrial fibrillation.

Prior to joining Summit Health (formerly Westmed Medical Group), Dr. Levine was a cardiologist at Atlantic Medical Group located in New Jersey. Additionally, Dr. Levine practiced at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, where he gained experience in all aspects of cardiology including invasive and noninvasive procedures and diagnostic testing and interpretation. Throughout his career, Dr. Levine participated in research projects and academic inquiry.

Dr. Levine believes in a comprehensive and collaborative method to his patient care. He is compassionate and enjoys building a personal and individualized approach to treating all of his patients.
