About Barry S. Kimmel, MD
Dr. Kimmel is a board-certified urologist. He earned his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Miami in Florida. Dr. Kimmel continued on to complete his residency and internship in general surgery at St. Luke's/Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York, NY. He then specialized in urology with a residency in urology at Mount Sinai Medical Center and a fellowship in urologic oncology research at the University of Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining Summit Health (formerly Westmed Medical Group), Dr. Kimmel was a partner at Pagnani-Braga-Kimmel Urologic Associates in Linwood, NJ. He also held the position as chief of the division of urology at Cape Regional Medical Center and Shore Medical Center in New Jersey.
