Jeanette Kovtun, MD, is a member of Summit Health’s Hematology and Oncology team. Dr. Kovtun received her medical degree at Harvard Medical School and hematology/oncology fellowship training at the Harvard hospitals in Boston, MA. She is experienced in treating a broad range of hematologic and oncologic conditions, with special interest in breast, gastrointestinal, thoracic and other solid tumor malignancies. She is passionate about teaching and has served as a clinical instructor in medical schools. Dr. Kovtun strives to also use her teaching skills to educate and empower her patients to partner with them in their cancer care.

Outside of work Dr. Kovtun enjoys playing tennis, learning about and cooking international cuisine, traveling and spending time with family.
