Brooke Haftmann, PA, is a member of Summit Health’s Gynecologic Oncology team. She has her Master of Health Sciences and Physician's Assistant Studies degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia. 

As a physician assistant with expertise in gynecologic oncology, Ms. Haftmann’s approach to patient care is to ensure her patients are heard. She wants patients to leave a visit understanding the treatment plan and feeling comfortable with their care.

During a patient visit, Ms. Haftmann thinks it is important that all their concerns are addressed.  She emphasizes that their treatment is a team-based approach and involves the patient in all medical decisions.  

“Getting to know all the wonderful patients and their families is a highlight of my day,” said Ms. Haftmann. “Spending time and establishing a relationship with them is very important to me.”

When she is not seeing patients in the office, Ms. Haftmann enjoys going to the beach, spending time with family, and traveling. She is especially passionate about preventative care and gynecological cancers, and feels it is important to educate the community about gynecological oncology.
