Dr. Krakovitz is a board certified colon and rectal surgeon. He attended Johns Hopkins University and received his medical degree from Hahnemann University (now Drexel University) School of Medicine. After completing his general surgery residency, Dr. Krakovitz completed his fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Dr. Krakovitz joined Summit Health (formerly Westmed Medical Group) in 2003. He limits his practice to colon and rectal surgery. Since 2001, Dr. Krakovitz has been named a Top Doctor in Westchester Magazine, New York Magazine, U.S. News and World Report and Castle Connolly.

He is affiliated with Greenwich Hospital and the Rye Ambulatory Surgery Center.
