Fon-Sawitree Dew, DO, is a member of the Summit Health's Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine team. Prior to joining Summit Health, Dr. Dew worked as a pediatric hospitalist at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia at Virtua Health. There, she worked in the Pediatric Emergency and Inpatient Pediatric departments, which allowed her to care for children in the acute and emergency setting. Dr. Dew incorporates evidence-based medicine and healthy lifestyle to treat and prevent illness in children from newborn through 21 years old.

Dr. Dew was inspired by her parents’ work in healthcare. Witnessing her parents selfless work and helping them raise her younger brother; she was fascinated by children’s creativity, resiliency, growth, and development. Dr. Dew likes to connect with children. She hopes to inspire children and parents to live up to their fullest potential, build the healthy and strong foundation, and enjoy each moment together.

Outside of work, Dr. Dew loves spending time with her two daughters, her husband, and her Australian Shepherd. She also likes to read, watch documentaries and some good TV shows as well as enjoy a variety of cuisine.
