Debra Margulies, MD sub-specializes in the treatment of thyroid and parathyroid conditions within the Department of Endocrinology at Summit Health.

Dr. Margulies is certified by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine to perform neck ultrasound and fine needle biopsy of thyroid nodules. She teaches these important skills to trainees and physician colleagues at symposia offered throughout the U.S. by the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology and the New Jersey Association of Endocrinologists.

Dr. Margulies is a member of numerous prestigious medical societies, including the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society and the North American Society of Interventional Thyroidology.  She is also the chair of the American Thyroid Association’s Clinical Affairs Committee and past president of the New Jersey Association of Endocrinologists.  She has been featured in the New Jersey Monthly and Castle Connolly “Top Doctor” listings.
