Ms. Franco received her Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in mind-brain studies from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She earned her Master of Science in physician assistant studies from Long Island University School of Health Professions in Brooklyn, NY.

Prior to joining Summit Health (formerly Westmed Medical Group), Ms. Franco worked as clinician at Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic, Inc. In this role, she provided direct medical care to patients in underserved communities, with an emphasis on family planning and reproductive health. During her training at LIU, Ms. Franco rotated through several hospitals in Brooklyn and Manhattan, including Bellevue Hospital, New York Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital and The Brooklyn Hospital Center.

Ms. Franco is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is also an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the New York State Society of Physician Assistants.
