Steven Olson, PA-C, is a member of Summit Health’s Orthopedics team. As a physician assistant, Mr. Olson focuses on orthopedic surgery, specifically total hip, and total knee replacements.

Mr. Olson has a passion for helping others and enjoys being in a career where he can help different people every day. He believes every patient is different and should have their needs met regardless of why they are being seen.

“You have to approach the whole patient, not just the reason they came to the office,” said Mr. Olson. “We need to consider their needs outside of the hospital in light of their condition and social support.” During a visit, Mr. Olson believes in spending the time needed to ensure a patient feels heard.

Outside of work, Mr. Olson enjoys spending time outdoors.
