Melissa McKay, APN is a member of Summit Health’s Internal Medicine team. Ms. McKay specializes in adult-gerontology primary care, working in collaboration with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and physicians across multiple medical disciplines.

She has a clinical interest in preventative care, with a focus on promoting healthy lifestyles to change disease trajectories. She further supports this interest with continuing education in whole-food and plant-based nutrition.

Ms. McKay takes a holistic approach to care, forging trusting relationships with her patients and encouraging a shared pursuit of best possible outcomes. “I want my patients to leave our visit feeling that their issues and concerns were fully addressed and that they always feel heard,” she says.

In her free time, Ms. McKay enjoys yoga, listening to music and podcasts, plant-based cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
