NEW YORK AND BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ, OCTOBER 3, 2022 – Summit Health, which helps patients with all of their primary and specialty care needs, today announced the opening of a urology office in Princeton, NJ, located at 134 Stanhope Street. Resulting from the integration of Urology Group of Princeton, the office features 5,175 square feet and includes three providers, nine exam rooms and three procedure rooms.
“Summit Health’s urology practice further expands our connected care model that’s focused on serving patients across the Tri-State area,” said Dr. Jack Cappitelli, Chief Medical Officer, New Jersey Region at Summit Health. “We believe health care remains a local phenomenon, and we need to make sure we remain focused on delivering quality care, locally, on every corner and neighborhood.”
Joining Summit Health are three well-respected and renowned urologists:
- Barry Rossman, MD – Dr. Barry Rossman has been in practice for over 30 years and has the distinction of being named “Best Doctor” by his peers in New Jersey Magazine for the past several years standing. He earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his medical degree from Boston University. He completed his surgical internship and urology residency at Montefiore/Albert Einstein Hospital and Medical Center.
- Alexander Vukasin, MD – Dr. Alexander Vukasin completed his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine. He completed his surgical internship and urology residency at the New York – Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. He has published and presented numerous articles on urological disease and treatments, and frequently lectures on various urological topics.
- Alexei Wedmid, MD – Dr. Alexei Wedmid graduated Magna Cum Laude from Dartmouth College, with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Sciences. He completed his surgical internship and urology residency at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, in New York City, and then proceeded to complete a subspecialty fellowship in Robotic and Laparoscopic Urology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
