A rare but serious pediatric inflammatory disease called multisystem inflammatory syndrome (MIS-C) is currently being investigated due to links to COVID-19. At Summit Health, we have assembled a multidisciplinary task force to work in the early identification and treatment of potential high-risk children. The task force is comprised of experts representing pediatrics, pediatric pulmonology, pediatric cardiology, pediatric infectious diseases and allergy and immunology.
