Breast Reconstruction Awareness (BRA) Day is an annual campaign launched in 2011 to educate patients about breast reconstruction options after undergoing mastectomy or lumpectomy. Breast reconstruction can be an empowering option for women who want to close the loop on their cancer experience with a renewed sense of well-being. We proudly support this movement and hope to build awareness of breast reconstruction by sharing a powerful patient story that demonstrates both the physical and emotional benefits.
