Pooja Virmani, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Virmani strongly believes in improving patient outcomes through compassionate care combined with the latest advancements in the field of dermatology.

Dr. Virmani completed her residency training from the prestigious Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey and internship from the SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. As part of her residency training, Dr. Virmani had the opportunity to serve the veterans community at the VA East Orange Medical Center.

From 2014-16, Dr. Virmani served as a Clinical Research Fellow at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, where she conducted clinical and epidemiologic research related to cutaneous lymphomas, focusing on the secondary prevention and early detection of skin cancer with an emphasis on novel noninvasive imaging techniques. Her research has been published in various national and international journals and she is a contributing author to various books in the field of dermatology.

Previously, Dr. Virmani has worked as a Research Volunteer at the Department of Dermatology, Wake Forest University, North Carolina and as Postdoctoral Visitor at the Department of Dermatopathology, University of California, San Francisco.

Dr. Virmani lives in Middlesex county, New Jersey, with her husband and two beautiful children.
