Allison Sissons, PA-C, provides patient-centered care in Urogynecology. From a young age, Allison found joy in helping others. This passion led her to a career in healthcare where she can make a significant impact on people's lives, especially during their most vulnerable moments.

Allison's journey in healthcare began with an Emergency Room fellowship, followed by roles in urgent care and primary care. These experiences allowed her to build a strong foundation in patient care. However, it was her work with women dealing with a wide range of health issues that sparked her interest in urogynecology. Allison finds it rewarding to improve women's quality of life through focused, long-term solutions for pelvic floor challenges.

In her approach to patient care, Allison emphasizes understanding each patient's unique needs and concerns. She strives to create an open, non-judgmental environment where patients feel comfortable discussing personal health issues. Allison believes in collaborative care and works with a multidisciplinary team to seek the best outcomes. She says, "What I enjoy most about being a Physician Assistant is the opportunity to have a direct, positive impact on people's lives every day."

Outside of work, Allison enjoys spending time with her family, including her daughter, husband, and schnauzer. She loves exercising, traveling to warm destinations, cooking, hiking, and exploring new restaurants and cuisines. She is passionate about ensuring access to quality care for women and promoting the critical connection between physical and mental well-being.
