About Lauren C. Dwyer, AuD
Dr. Dwyer received her Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY where she double majored in psychology and speech language pathology, followed by her Doctor of Audiology (AuD) from Long Island AuD Consortium of Adelphi, Hofstra and St. John's Universities.
Prior to joining Summit Health (formerly Westmed Medical Group), Dr. Dwyer completed her clinical training as an audiology extern at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York, NY. In this role, she developed and refined her skills in audiological testing, amplification, cochlear implants and vestibular assessments. She then worked as a pediatric audiologist at Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech specializing in the treatment of children with hearing loss from ages birth to five.
