Amy Cargill, LCSW is a member of Summit Health's Behavioral Health team. She has a strong desire to understand human behavior and help others feel their best. This has led her to a fulfilling career in healthcare, where she is continually learning and growing.  

Ms. Cargill primarily treats children and adolescents, ages seven to 21, but also sees adults. Her clinical focus is on treating anxiety disorders, OCD, depression, and life transitions. She believes in a patient-driven approach to treatment, tapping into each patient's strengths and resources to help them reach their goals. 

"I want my patients to feel that I 'get it.' It's important to me that they feel fully heard, that they were my main priority for the entirety of the session, and that they aren't alone," says Ms. Cargill. She finds great joy in getting to know many different people and forming relationships with them. 

When not helping her patients, Ms. Cargill enjoys spending time with her family, including all her pets, watching movies, going to the beach, and seeing concerts. She loves reading thrillers and hopes to travel more, starting with visiting all 50 states. She is passionate about women's issues as well as LGBTQ+ rights and advocacy.
