Ms. Valcin is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY. She went on to earn her Master of Science in nursing and health administration from the University of Phoenix in Phoenix, AZ. Ms. Valcin completed a population care coordinator program at Duke University in Durham, NC followed by a family nurse practitioner program from Lehman College in Bronx, NY.

Prior to joining Summit Health (formerly Westmed Medical Group), Ms. Valcin worked as a nurse practitioner in a primary care setting in Bronx, NY. In this role, she endeavored to deliver essential, timely and individualized quality care while serving as a resource to help improve her patient's health outcomes.

Ms. Valcin is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is passionate about helping others not only in America but also internationally. She has shown her dedication for her passion by volunteering time to complete medical missions in Haiti and Ghana.

Ms. Valcin is fluent in French and Haitian Creole.
