Donna Field is a certified nurse midwife with over 30 years experience. After receiving her bachelor of arts degree in education from SUNY Buffalo, she graduated with a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Later, she went to Midwifery School at Columbia University and received her master of science degree in nursing.

Prior to joining Summit Health (formerly Westmed Medical Group) in September of 2008, Ms. Field was a nurse midwife at Associates for Women's Care in Scarsdale, Planned Parenthood and at a private practice in New Rochelle. She has also worked as a clinical instructor at Yale University and has been affiliated with Einstein Hospital, the Maternity Center Association and North Central Bronx Hospital, along with other private practices.

Although Ms. Field no longer delivers babies, she currently sees women for family planning, routine gynecologic care, STI counseling and testing, as well as prenatal care. Ms. Field especially enjoys caring for young women to help ease them through their first gynecologic exam.

She is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives, as well as the Council of Childbirth Education Specialists and the Nurses' Association of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
