Melinda J. Massoff, PhD earned her Ph.D. in child and adult clinical psychology from New York University. Prior to studying psychology, she also obtained a law degree from Fordham University. Dr. Massoff completed her undergraduate studies in French literature and history at the University of Pennsylvania.

She draws from an array of cognitive behavioral techniques to provide problem-focused, often short-term psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults.

Before joining Summit Health (formerly Westmed Medical Group), Dr. Massoff was a senior clinician and clinical supervisor at The Mental Health Association of Westchester from 2005-2013. While there, she treated children, adolescents and adults for a variety of disorders including those designated as seriously emotionally disturbed and seriously mentally ill.

In addition, Dr. Massoff served as mental health consultant to Greyston Foundation's Childcare Center in Yonkers for three years. She was a pre-doctoral intern at the Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut.

She joined Summit Health in March 2013.
