About Rose Moise, LPC
Rose Moise, LPC, is a member of Summit Health’s Behavioral Health team. She pursued a career in health care because she recognized that one’s mental health is just as vital as physical health and is occasionally undervalued. Ms. Moise believes the best aspect of becoming a therapist is assisting people in realizing their own potential and strengths, which benefits both their physical well-being and self-actualization.
Ms. Moise has dedicated 13 years of her life to helping children, young adults, and families advocate for themselves in order to live fulfilling lives. This goes hand-in-hand with her approach to patient care which she believes, “is to provide patients a safe and welcoming environment in order to support them in achieving their goals and ensuring that they are heard,” she said.
It is important to Ms. Moise during a patient visit that the patient feels understood. She feels the best part about being a therapist is seeing the patients make mental connections and find a new perspective in dealing with their struggles.
Outside of providing treatment to her patients, Ms. Moise has many interests including cooking, dancing to Haitian music, and being with her family and dog. She is also especially passionate about infant and early childhood mental health and parent/child relationships.
