Claudette Ollivierre, LCSW is a member of Summit Health's Behavioral Health team. She has vast experience in social work, especially working with adolescents, adults, and the senior population. Claudette assists her clients through the multiple stages of life changes, aiming to provide comfort and understanding during these transitions through a therapeutic relationship.

Empathy and active listening form the heart of Claudette's person-centered approach to care. She believes in creating a safe environment for her clients and values their wellbeing above all. The most important part of a visit is being able to provide a space for the person to express their needs unhindered.

What she finds most rewarding about her work is the opportunity to instigate positive changes while also continuing to grow in her personal journey. "Social work allows me to serve the community while also helping me grow as an individual," Claudette shares. This growth resonates deeply with her philosophy of equity and equality, as she carries this passion beyond her work into her commitment to societal issues.

When Claudette is not engaged in her work, she embraces an active lifestyle and shows a deep appreciation for nature. Whether it's bicycling, jogging, or taking long walks, she seeks to capture the joy of being outdoors. Claudette also finds pleasure in the simple things like feeling the sun on her face, walking barefoot on the grass on warm summer days, and losing herself in a good book. And when she gets the chance, there's nothing that Claudette loves more than a movie marathon at home.
