Charles Hyde, MD, is a member of Summit Health’s Radiology team. Dr. Hyde chose a career in health care to help patients and to educate patients, colleagues, and trainees. He has been on the faculty of Boston University and Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Hyde’s expertise is abdominal imaging, with specific focus on ultrasound, including abdominal, urologic, gynecologic, small parts imaging. He takes pride in radiology being able to provide crucial information that can assist patient diagnosis.

Dr. Hyde’s philosophy towards patient care is simple yet profound. He believes in treating every patient as if they were a family member. “It is important to me to convey caring, knowledge, confidence, and honesty,” says Dr. Hyde. 

 Outside of his professional life, Dr. Hyde is an avid reader and enjoys music, including classical music and jazz. He has a passion for education – including himself - and believes in justice, freedom of choice, and the sanctity of the physician-patient relationship.
