Jillian Silver, APN, is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner and a valued member of the Summit Neurology team. Jillian was drawn to a career in healthcare due to the unique blend of problem-solving, strategic planning, and the social and emotional aspects of patient care. She finds her work in medicine both interesting and incredibly rewarding.

In her role, Jillian is involved in ensuring comprehensive patient care. She coordinates the various needs of her patients; a responsibility she finds crucial in the care she provides. Her approach to patient care is centered around prevention and promoting healthy habits. 

Jillian strives to create a trustful environment for her patients. "I want my patients to know I am really listening to what they need and want," she says. "When they leave an appointment, I want my patients to trust their questions are answered or I will do my best to find the answer, all while feeling safe in my care. I try to think of who I would want taking care of me or my family if I were in their shoes."

Outside of her professional life, Jillian enjoys spending time with her 2-year-old son and husband. She loves meeting up with friends and getting lost in a good book. Jillian is also passionate about promoting healthy habits, including healthy eating, exercise, and emotional care and support.
