Natasa Ancevska-Taneva, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist on Summit Health’s Anesthesiology team. Dr. Ancevska-Taneva initially pursued a career in health care because she is a very compassionate person by nature and is passionate about helping and caring for others.

The doctor’s area of expertise spans several areas of anesthesiology including: general anesthesia, local anesthesia with sedation, local anesthesia, and regional anesthesia, which numbs a large part of the body without causing the patient to be unconscious.

First and foremost, Dr. Ancevska-Taneva's approach to patient care is to “put the patients’ safety and well-being as my top priority,” she says. Dr. Ancevska-Taneva treats her patients how she would want to be treated, with the same excellent quality of care and dignity. Most important to her during a patient visit is to “address all of the patients’ concerns, comfort them during times of great stress, put them at ease, and reassure them that they are in good hands,” she explains.

Dr. Ancevska-Taneva finds working with a diverse patient population as part of the Summit Health Anesthesiology team most enjoyable, along with her deep interest in educating the community-at-large about adopting healthier lifestyles.

When not providing care to her patients, Dr. Ancevska-Taneva's interests outside the office includes a love of traveling, reading, playing tennis, cooking dishes from international cuisines, and spending time with family and friends.
