About Diana Mateus, DO
Dr. Mateus is board certified in family medicine. She received her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Marist College in Poughkeepsie and she earned her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. She went on to complete a residency in family medicine at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, NY, where she served as chief resident.
Dr. Mateus has worked at our Urgent Care Centers since 2011.
Dr. Mateus completed medical missions to Honduras, El Salvador and Guyana, where she provided medical assistance, health care and prevention education to residents. She is passionate about helping her fellow Latino community by volunteering in translation services and is the first aid coordinator at her church.
Dr. Mateus is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association.
